A few words about us
KAYLA RICHARDS
Head Mobile Physiotherapist
Our practice owner is a UWC graduate with vast experience in the field of sports physiotherapy. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of each patient she works with. She started the practice with the aim of making physiotherapy accessible and affordable to all. She is your Physio on the Move.
Physio on the Move is a mobile physiotherapy clinic. For your convenience, we provide a mobile physiotherapy clinic service to homes, offices, training institutions, and wherever you find yourself. This reduces your need to travel by saving time and helping those unable to travel.
Not only do we assess your injury, but also the lifestyle and environmental factors that can contribute to your injury or slow down your rehabilitation in the future. Treating you in your own environment helps us ensure your recovery is successful and reduces possible injuries.
Before opening her mobile physiotherapy clinic, Our head therapist Kayla Richards studied at the University of the Western Cape and was a former SA footballer. She has a keen interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation and has worked with various sports codes at an amateur and professional level. She’s also been part of the medical team servicing TEAM SA athletes at various international competitions.
We run a fee for service practice that uses medical aid rates for billing. Accounts are settled at the end of each session
